Model 920 Multi-Gas Analyzer
Stack emissions monitoring of hot/wet gases with integral sample system and oven for analysis of streams with dewpoints up to 350°F (180°C). Gases monitored include SO2, H2S, CS2, COS, NO2, NO, NOx, Cl2, NH3 and many others.
The Model 920 Continuous Emission Monitor (CEM), designed and manufactured by AMETEK - Western Research, is a second generation process analyzer which has been specifically developed to measure stack gas emissions and provide a mass emission value for SO2 and, if required, NOx. The analyzer draws an undiluted, extractive sample from the stack and analyzes for SO2 and NOx. Additionally, the analyzer measures stack flow rate and effluent temperature. These values, plus appropriate constants, are then used to compute the mass emission rate on an instantaneous, continuous basis. The simplicity of design provides for minimal maintenance, maximum reliability and maximum on-line performance.
